Lucia Micarelli

Juilliard-trained violinist, composer, and storyteller Lucia Micarelli has spent more than two decades trying to blow open the doors to classical music. As a guest soloist, she has toured the world with Josh Groban, Chris Botti, and Barbra Streisand and performed at Carnegie Hall, the Sydney Opera House, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and Madison Square Garden. Her 2018 PBS special, An Evening with Lucia Micarelli, introduced her genre-spanning concert work to a national audience. She also starred in the acclaimed HBO series Treme, and she has scored documentaries for HBO and Amazon Prime.

Across six albums and a career that refuses to stay in one lane, Micarelli has remained driven by the conviction that music is not just entertainment, but a vital expression of our shared humanity that belongs to everyone.
